Chef Federico has been working in a restaurant all his life. His training began under the chef/owner of a fine dining German lakeside restaurant. When the restaurant closed, Chef Federico moved to Long Island to help care for his sick mother in law, who greatly benefited from infused food and had quite the picky pallet. He began experimenting with high end infused food and through this Refined Infusions was born. He started a catering company that hosted private dinners as well as vended at large events.
A year later, Chef began a line of Refined Infusions products. Believing there was more to edibles than brownies and cookies, he designed products that customers can use flexibly at home in their own cooking. Refined Infusions product line gives you the freedom to infuse anything and at any desired strength depending on your desired effects.
Chef Federico Moreno won Best Infused Chef Long Island with his Thai Tom Kha Kai coconut milk soup, roasted lamb with red wine reduction, and crème brûlée three ways. He is also a glassblower, dog lover, and soon to be father in October! He is known for his big smile and breaking out into dance.
